They sure do. Just ask stunning Nicole Capper, our new Mrs South Africa 2018. Heartfelt CONGRATS to Nicole for this phenomenal achievement! Of course it doesn’t stop there. Her reign is just beginning, starting with representing our country next month in the Mrs World contest at Emperor’s Palace, right here in Johannesburg. If anyone can walk away with that crown, she can.
I say this unreservedly, having witnessed how Nicole lit up our studio at one of my Confidence on Camera workshops in June last year. It’s been so inspiring to see her shine ever more radiantly since that day, when she shared her dream with us to become Mrs SA. Above is a pic of our studio where that conversation took place, and below are a few photos of Nicole from our session:
Her focus hasn’t wavered, founded on her passion to make a difference in the world and to take a stand for the cause that’s so close to her heart, namely to raise awareness for those with rare diseases, ultimately to save lives. This is because her beautiful 2-year-old daughter Tatum has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a life-limiting disease. You can read more about Nicole’s story at her website www.nicolecapper.com.
In the meantime, soak in the truth that ‘Dreams do come true’. Here’s more inspiration from multiple Olympic gold medalist Gail Devers, who achieved success after fighting her own battle with an autoimmune disease: “Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.”
How confident do you feel about stepping into your own spotlight, by sharing your truth and your talent? Nicole is a shining example of how you can contribute to determining your own destiny. Yet as much as your success requires your commitment, you need never go it alone. Two days after being crowned (with her 5-year-old son Josh in the audience), Nicole and her husband Brian, a South African motorsport legend, celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. Their family motto is “We are a team.”
Apart from family, there is so much support available to you. As a start, if you feel any resistance to unleashing your inner star and shining on camera, visit my YouTube channel for free videos that can help. My workshops take this to the next level. To give you an idea of what you can experience, read my testimonials, which include wonderful words from Nicole – with special thanks to her and my other gorgeous clients.
We’re so proud of Nicole for choosing on a daily basis to believe in the power of dreams and in the beauty of life, despite how challenging it can be. Please join me in wishing her everything of the best for a brilliant year as Mrs South Africa!
