Every so often I have the privilege and pleasure of photographing someone who I know will do great things. As a breath-taking example, I’m so happy to share that gorgeous Nicole Capper is a Mrs South Africa Finalist! At 32, she is a shining example of a phenomenal woman, wife to top SA motorcycle rider Brian Capper, mother to 4-year-old Josh and 2-year-old Tatum, functional medicine pharmacist, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Nicole stands for the belief that #LifeIsBeautiful despite the fact that it isn’t always easy. She is a powerful advocate for Rare Diseases SA, since her precious daughter Tatum was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, ‘a life-limiting genetic disease’, at six weeks old. Nicole recently ran the Two Oceans marathon for Rare Diseases SA to help raise awareness and save lives. Follow this link to find out more and Like her Facebook page.

As you can imagine, Nicole’s story is profoundly relatable, which is a quality sought in Mrs South Africa contestants. Glamour and sophistication play a part but ‘Mrs South Africa is a movement that shines the torch on real women. Real women with real lives, real curves and real problems . . . It offers married South African women . . . a platform to make a difference and to empower women across South Africa.’ Their tag line is #SheIsBonaFide.

This is all close to my heart because Nicole attended one of my confidence on camera workshops in June last year, to help her prepare for the Mrs SA competition. It’s been fantastic to watch her journey unfold, supported by her beloved family and team, who have contributed to the recognition that she so richly deserves, as she steps up and takes her rightful place in the spotlight. Here is her special testimonial for which I’m so grateful:

Part of the magic along the way has been the abundance of stunning photographs that Nicole has been sharing, all featuring her radiant confidence on camera. She is now also a professional model and MC – a true reflection of her inner and outer beauty, which deeply endorses my passion for helping visionary women leaders unleash their inner stars.

Does your inner star long to shine? If so, stay tuned because I’ll share plenty more content to inspire her. If she’s shining already, have you experienced any particular turning points along the way? Please leave a comment below to share your story. I’d love to know.

In the meantime, please join me in wishing Nicole success in the Mrs South Africa competition, which wraps in October – not before the finalists are called on to dig deep and rise to challenges. May they all shine their brightest and the crown land on the head of the beautiful woman where it belongs. In my opinion, that is Nicole! To vote for her, SMS NICOLE CAPPER to 55959 as many times as you like (R3/sms).
