Cheers to 2019, and the past decade for that matter! OMG 2020 seems to have come around quickly, yet on closer reflection so much has happened in the past 10 years. This pic with my twin sister Ruth was taken last month at her daughter’s fabulous 21st birthday lunch . . . a reminder of how swiftly time moves on and that we can’t kid ourselves about getting older 😉
How are you feeling? Have you done your ‘decade in review’ journaling? Having dedicated a few hours to doing mine, I feel a whole lot lighter and clearer about heading into the new year and decade. Marie Forleo recently shared an excellent free 3 part video series to guide your decade in review process, which I highly recommend checking out and taking the time to follow.
You’ll no doubt have some special wins to appreciate and lessons learnt from challenges along the way. That’s how we grow, and isn’t it profound to consider how much you’ve grown, both personally and professionally? The past 4 years have included particular highlights for me, starting with winning a scholarship to Marie’s phenomenal online B-School in Feb 2016.
I share insight about this in a feature article that woman&home SA is publishing in their Feb 2020 issue, so look out for it! As a teaser, here’s a sneak peek from our magazine shoot:
Following B-School, I founded my company Naomi Estment (Pty) Ltd in June 2016, with a view to helping women in particular to shine on camera and become the stars of their brands. Since then, and with the same purpose, I’ve combined the best of everything I’ve learnt in over 15 years of professionally photographing and filming hundreds of individuals into my ROCK THAT LENS online course, which is what I’m most grateful to have achieved in the past decade!
As a result, one thing I know for sure is that I won’t ‘die with my music in me’. This is my key goal, which I strive to maintain and help others do the same by showing up fully in the world. That’s why I’m delighted to let you in on a little secret: I’ll soon be sharing an amazing offer in this regard, in partnership with woman&home SA, so stay tuned for that 🙂 In the meantime, what are your goals and how do you plan to contribute to them in 2020 and the next 10 years?
Whatever your intentions are, I’m sure they’re worth celebrating in style, and so is the festive season, which I hope is filled with blessings for you and yours! cheers to YOU!
