As we head into 2019, do you have any personal or business highlights to celebrate so far? How about finding at least one each week, to keep your year fresh and fabulous from start to finish?
This Friday I’m celebrating our first meeting of the year with my mastermind group and last Friday I celebrated being featured in Entrepreneur Magazine SA, in a personal branding article by Lien Potgieter, who is listed by the magazine as one of the Top 50 South African Business Women to watch! Here’s a link to the article, with a special shout-out also to Pam Padayachee and Briony Liber, dynamic women entrepreneurs who feature too.
A long time published writer and editor, Lien is also an accomplished colour intuitive and founder of The Colour Option. Follow that link to see how she can help you to find direction and grow a purpose-driven business, in part by tapping into the power of colour as this applies to your unique colour personality. I learned a whole lot from the colour reading she did for me (one of more than 3000 readings she’s done over the years) and I highly recommend the experience.
We met at a networking event a year ago where we connected just long enough to exchange business cards. When I browsed Lien’s website afterwards, I was excited to read about her editing services. I emailed her, we met for coffee and I hired her to edit some of the content for my online courses. A while later she hired me to shoot a video for her online course, which I did together with my husband Dave. Here’s the testimonial that she generously shared after that.
Heartfelt thanks to Lien for her wonderful words and for including me in her insightful article in Entrepreneur magazine SA. It’s a privilege and pleasure to share my passion for brilliant personal branding photos and videos with a wider audience. P.S. What was the number one way that you built your personal or business brand in 2018 and how do you intend to grow your brand in 2019? I’d love to know in the comments below!
