Are you familiar with ‘the squinch’? This is a slight squint or pinching together of your eyes in order to come across as more comfortable and confident, as opposed to portraying a wider eyed, potentially uncertain look. It’s particularly appealing, according to an online tool called Photofeeler that rates profile pics via votes from real people.

When Dave was outside yesterday, about to clean his enduro bike, I persuaded him to give it a go because I needed a sample pic for my Visual Marketing Mojo workshop with the ICF (International Coach Federation) tomorrow. If you’re in Jo’burg, you have a little window of opportunity to join us. I’d love to see you there! Follow that link for details and to register.

If you’re elsewhere in the world, not to worry, my Visual Marketing Mojo online course is launching soon, and you’re invited! In the meantime, if you have any questions about how to leverage your photos and videos via effective visual marketing, please post them below.

Dave and I had a whole lot of fun trying out ‘the squinch’ for the pic above. Most importantly, I’m SO grateful that he’s feeling great and is back up to speed with his training since his mild heart attack scare 2 weeks ago. It was a profound reminder to appreciate every moment, and make sure to ‘share our music’ while we can, so that it doesn’t remain trapped inside us.

My online courses are the culmination of 17 years of professional photography and videography experience, motivated by the heartfelt desire to share ‘my music’ to help you make the most of your personal and professional presence on camera, thereby promoting your company or career and in turn sharing the best of who you are and what you offer with the world, while you can.

So tell me, what is your music, and how are you sharing it? I’d love to know below! XO
