Special shout out and thanks to the two gorgeous groups of ladies who braved the first taste of winter during our recent Confidence on Camera Workshops that we held in our studio last month. They all Rocked That Camera in their photos and videos, each contributing meaningfully to their personal and professional visual portfolios.
Understanding the stress of facing the camera and watching a group of dynamic ladies discreetly feeling the same, Juanita shared that “It was wonderful to witness how Naomi led our group to that comfortable space of understanding that ‘this is just a camera; we have the power to determine what it captures’. Even more magical to see was the way that each one noticed how they can have their own beautiful photos and videos, enhanced by their unique poses and nuances – ultimately walking away with a sense of ‘I can do this’!”
Amidst the outfit changes, make-up touchups, scene setting changes for the videos, as well as lots of fun and laughter in both sessions, it gave us great pleasure to impart insight, inspiration and practical tips that enable these amazing women to pave the way forward to enjoying fabulous photos and videos of themselves, which they can also use to effectively promote their companies and careers.

To put this all in perspective, according to a 2011 survey by the manufacturers of Dove soap called The Real Truth About Beauty: Revisited, only 4% of women worldwide consider themselves beautiful. Our aim is to significantly increase that figure, so here’s to embracing our beauty and rocking those cameras now and into the future!
